I'm happy you're here! I'm Ally Short.
I'm a singer, songwriter, and actress
based in both Brooklyn and
Long Island, NY.
Growing up, I took every chance I could to sing my heart out, whether it meant strumming a guitar bigger than me, using a frying pan as a banjo, or tap dancing on a Wii Fit board. No matter the stage, I was always ready to put on a show!
The first time I performed solo in front of an audience was in the second grade, where I sang and played the piano blindfolded. That moment sparked my love for the stage and ignited my passion for performing.
Today, I am a proud senior at Molloy University / CAP21 on track to earn my BFA in May of 2026, and I'm more passionate than ever about pursuing a life in the arts!

It means so much. There’s no definition attached to the term.
The world needs meaningful stories to feel deeply about,
and in a world that is so saturated with noise, we have the
ability to bring out the moments of stillness.
Being an artist demands you to be vulnerable,
creative, authentic, truthful, and so much more.
The best part though?
You get to be yourself! Fully and freely!
Even if it shows up differently day by day,
it’s still enough.
That’s what makes it worth it!
What does it means to be an Artist?
Outside of performing...
these are some things I just LOVE!
